Direct beach access and family activities

I enjoyed the direct access to the beach, made our visits quick and effortless, perfect for building sandcastles with my kids. The variety of pools, including a kiddie area and lazy river, kept the children entertained throughout our stay. The room could use some updates, as it was slightly worn.

Came here for vacation, had relaxing 2 days overall. Luxurious and decent sized rooms with the view of ocean that we truly enjoyed. The hotel staff was super-FRIENDLY and immensely pleasant. In general the service was friendly. Location: the venue was just next door to the nearby restaurants and stores, the center of numerous activities, and water park. Dessert restaurant Daddio's Ice Cream located 2 mi away was a nice surprise.

This place was just a strong match for a whistle-stop in Myrtle Beach with excellent value for money. The room had direct access to the beach, easy to jump in the water whenever we wanted. Bring your own cleaning supplies in case things aren't up to your standard.

The location right on the ocean with a lazy river and several pools to choose from was great for me and my two children, ages 8 and 10. The rooms were great with lots of room, wonderful balcony and exceptional whirlpool tub.

I would recommend that they have an adult only pool since many adults were complaining about all the children in the pools.

I loved the direct beach access. The oceanfront views from my One Bedroom Oceanfront Villa were fine. The pools were fantastic, with fun interactive features. Staff were very helpful with concierge services. A great spot for families all around 🌊

Staying at this oceanfront resort was a delight! The pools were perfect for our family, especially with the little ones splashing around. The beach access made it super convenient for quick trips to the sand for sandcastle building.

My wife says that better room preparation would help families.

I liked the pool, I used it a lot. I liked to be close to the beach. I liked they were lending towels for the pool too.

I must say, Westgate has some solid activities that kept us entertained! Pilates and karaoke brought out my inner performer, but the real star was the local dining scene. I adored the casual vibe at Athena's Bar & Grill, just a hop away, and Captain Benjamin's Calabash Seafood had us feasting like kings with those savory platters!

the motel was great.the rooms are very nice,beds are comfy.i felt like i was at the best place around.all the pools,hot tubs were just great.i would recommend anyone stay here.

I liked the location of the hotel right on the beach and the services provided by the staff.

The view from the oceanfront baclony was relaxing and beautiful. Staff was freindly and helpful.

It is a long walk from the check-in area to the room.
